October 22, 2009 PLPOA Elects New Board Members The PPOA annual meeting was held on 10/22 which included the election of the 2010 board members. The election results formed the following board: President: Dave Island Vice President: Naureen Fielding Lake Ops: Mike Thompson Secretary: Robert Lacy Treasurer: Ryan Akkerman Texas Night Out October 6th Event was Cancelled The members of Princeton Lakes will be hosting a Texas Night Out gathering on October 6th at the boat ramp. Join in on the fun wotj the Neighborhood and meet the members of the local police and fire department. August 29th, 2009 Silvers Captures Best of Show Gregg Silvers wins motorcycle best of show at the Princeton Lost Highway 2009 Car and Motorcycle show.
August 11-15, 2009 Island and Armor Capture Gold from 67th Goode 2009 Waterski Nationals Steven Island completed 2-1/2 buoys at 38 feet off to win Boys 2 slalom. Paul Armour won the Mens 5 jumping title with a jump of 141 feet. August 2009 Team Top Gun Wins Buckethead Barefoot Endurance Race Stuart Singer and his team "Top Gun" dominated the field to win the 38 Mile Buckethead Barefoot Endurance Race in Grand Rapids, OH.
August 14-15 2009 Team Top Gun Wins Mississippi River Challenge Stuart Singer and his team "Top Gun" walked away with win number two in the 39 Mile Mississippi River Challenge in St Louis, MO.

Princeton Lakes Three Event Fall Tournament 9/19 - 9/20 Princeton Lakes is hosting its last pair of tournaments for the 2009 ski season. Saturday is the traditional three-event tournament beginning on Lake1 at 8 AM with trick and jump. These events should conclude around 1:30 PM. Lake 2 will have 1 round of slalom starting after trick and jump have finished on Lake 1. Lake4 will start around 9:15 AM with slalom and run most of the day. This tournament is full of three-event skiers and many kids and adults from Princeton Lakes. Stop by and enjoy the fun. Sunday is Jump Fest. Jumping will begin on Lake1 at 8 AM and conclude sometime after 1 PM. Please remember that we are more than happy to allow for boat launchings and passing as necessary. After last weekend’s rainout, we imagine many are itching to get in some skiing and fun. |
